It is not cancelled!! It is just renamed "The Nader Cup" . We will have Pinecrest defending their titles against Kendall Coalition. We don't expect anyone else to sign up.Comment

It's on and we just secured a huge sponsor providing each player and coach with a nice gift for attending. In addition we have a commitment from a very high profile celebrity for trophy presentation. Who needs nice gifts for the coaches and players. You guys did not even give the teams their 3 games they were supposed to have. Super Cup gave out nice things as well You canceled the tournament so early. You never refunded any of the fees especially referee fees. And who gives a flying crap about a celebrity to give out trophies when half of your championships games were never played. Who will he give trophies out too? Your tournament was horrible, run poorly. You didn't even realize until early morning Saturday that there were no lines painted and no goals at Tamiami, you pushed early morning games 3 hours later. It doesn't matter who you bring in to hand out awards or run your tournament, your decision makers are idiots. The board runs the whole club with no say so from anyone.
It was the same board members that chose to cancel all games and keep referee money. Greedy....

Pinecrest is doomed. Their program is finished. Mega Cup if it goes this year will be a disaster, just like everything else that is happening to Pinecrest. It will be the demise of all their programs that will no longer exist which includes their Golf Tournament, Club Banquet and finally the Mega Cup. The new directors are all for making money and couldn't care less about their events that require hard work and proper planning. They have no infrastructure anymore since their former director resigned. This is now about doing enough for the club to continue to pay the ridiculous salaries that are currently being paid to the director, her husband(or I think ex husband) and son. It's a shame to see what this club was, and what it has become. For you and your teams out there looking for another tournament, look elsewhere.Comment

If you don't like the club then exercise your freedom to attend another club, but spreading vial absurd lies is no way to mistreat people. You obviously are extremely disgruntled, perhaps we aren't subsidizing your child any longer (you need to contribute just as we all do).
