Great video. Thanks for posting. Over 5 million views in the first three days.

Some great lines in it if you listen carefully.

        Garbage

Doesn't matter where he's from. The art is well done but he's drawing a moral equivalency that doesn't exist, and perpetuating negative black stereotypes in both the trump guy and the black guy's response (fried chicken and kool aid? Really?)

It's also normalizing this alt right mindset. Sad that a black guy from mass is clever enough to create a novel concept, but not aware enough to realize that his equivalency is not much different than Trump @ Charlottesville talking about "both sides".

and yours is the view of a liberal....perhaps african american. The fact that the black guy was the responder gave him control of the dialogue and the ability to finish the discussion with a perspective that the white guy doesn't understand but should. The white guys view is the stereotypical view of many whites who are against quotas and forced diversity, and any concept of slave reparations. These are real views of the white community and societal facts. Meanwhile, the white person has never had the feeling of being enslaved as a person or a community and most (certainly not all) whites come from intact families that are generally better off economically with more opportunities.....as pointed out by the black person.

Although the video initially points out a 'point of view' of white person, it concludes with the reality of the black person.

If you look at the video and think it is a call for more quotas, forced diversity, or slave reparations then you are a fool. If you look at the video and think it calls for more blacks to understand the view of whites then you are an idiot.

The video is that of two common people that are more aware of what is going on, and appear to be more willing to understand each other than any of the so-called leaders in our community and country who are playing games with the people in order to gain some kind of position.....for themselves. The good part of the video is that it IS real and it is between the people. The problem with the video is that it doesn't highlight those bad people (black and white) who are too invested in keeping racism alive and well........

It reminded me of this video. Getting people to talk to one another, understand one another, is critical. Unfortunately some won't open their eyes or listen to other points of view.

It's a shame this message board isn't moderated. At least clearing out threads that belong in the garbage dump of politics.
