Pretty Impressive - 1 whole hour

Just looked at the postings for today, and saw that for exactly 1 hour there was no GPS vs. Valeo or Maple vs. NEP ******* contest. Looks to me like there is one obnoxious GPS and one obnoxious Valeo parent who can't help themselves from making everything about themselves.

There were a few good EDP teams in division 2. Hopefully we all move up for Spring.
Actually one is going to GPS Thanksgiving.

Yes, I am a Valeo Dad, and have admired PTUSA since we started playing them several years ago. They always give us a good game (have beaten us the last 2-3 times unfortunately).

How does the competition in U13 Maple Blue compare to the competition in U13 EDP?

Maple blue is better on average than EDP division 2. MA level of play is better than we all have lead to believe. Hopefully we can get to the top division of EDP soon.

Yes, I am a Valeo Dad, and have admired PTUSA since we started playing them several years ago. They always give us a good game (have beaten us the last 2-3 times unfortunately).

PTUSA is a "b" level U13 team. Not the elite players in relation to their peers, Explosion, the same. Blazers also. That is the perception out there and most of the time, perception is reality. Throw in both Valeo squads as well. Sorry to disappoint.

if you are a Valeo dad, hopefully you will recognize that it takes 10 field players and a GK on each side to play a game. Having seen both teams playing similar styles, your strength is in defense and midfield. Both teams have weaknesses finishing in the final third.

It is painfully obvious to see how these teams in all leagues are starting to differentiate and at this age and younger. Good teams are playing with modern tactics and possession philosophies playing from the back with skill at each position. These coaches are mostly silent from the sidelines with very little correction. Teams that are struggling are booting the ball from the back hoping to isolate 1-1 situations through 30 yd passes with their coaches screaming constantly. One set of teams will keep beating up the others and the players on these teams will be able to play any position. The other set will continue their downward slide and the players will only know how to not play any position, well at least.

Singular obviously. These GPS parents have completely lost it. Wait till their world champs get slapped around against R1 teams.
