Thursday line-up
Brookline-Weymouth
Framingham-Newton North
Natick-Norwood
Needham-Braintree
Walpole-Dedham
Wellesley-Milton
The first one looks most competitive, but forgive me for forecasting 0-0.

Natick then has a 2d game with Framingham set for Wed. 10/29. The rules count it toward league standings? If yes, at least we know there won't be a tie for 1st in Herget division.

Game played in Needham in cold, driving rain. Braintree scored early on a long throw in and a nice finish. Braintree defended well and had a few good chances but Needham had many more chances and probably about a dozen corner kicks. Needham finally went to a very offensive formation in the last minutes and scored with about 3 minutes to play. Not Needham's best game by a long shot. But a good prep game for what the games in the tournament will be like. Credit to Braintree for playing a game that is better than their record would indicate.
