Biggest downside I see is all their games are at 12am.

Oregon Ecnl teams aren't doing well outside of Oregon and would be getting beat in Oregon.

Might as well fly to Nj to play a team they can actually beat?

They should just scrimmage with Eastside or Grants Pass. Better competition.
Its not about top competition. If it was do you think they would do the Beaverton cup or bronze brackets in showcases?

21 games, playing time restrictions, no HS soccer. Things that makes you go 🤔.
Portland Timbers DA gets 30 games. At the very least some girls will (mandatory) start in 5 games. Assuming the bottom rosters get 20 min-40 min of those 5 games, some of those girls will play at a very minimum 60min all season. Look at the boys rosters, several boys get 0 min or as little as 4. But yeah, have fun in DA!

And if you are a 1-6 starting playing, you'll likely play 1680 min all regular season.

The bottom of the roster knows Academy is only for the top of the roster. They aren't doing Academy for the playing time. Every girl that tried out knew the rules going in. No surprises.
