Thorns/GDA must be deep to be able to split into 2 teams (red and black).

The best players like to play in whatever league they can - Club, ECNL player, and GDA players all playing and getting along way better than certain loser parents on this forum who like to stalk and put down others because of their failures in life. Yes, Potbelly, its time for you to look in the mirror again, get out of the PJs and go put that Burgerville application in without Mom goading you this time. And Brush those yellows after your morning donuts!

The Memorial Day Meltdown (friends cups) is never a very tough event. No good players do odp in Washington or California. Plus everyone is on vacation over Memorial Day weekend. So the star of the weekend will be Alaska and some rag tag teams pulled together from whatever you can get.

Is that the same Alaska that had to forfeit the entire slate of teams in FWRL after losing their first round of games by double digits? Should be a great weekend of exciting soccer!

....or if your DD could have made the ECNL team, she could of played in NJ this weekend.

I will take my chances to play in any games this weekend instead of sitting around the house.

Kids love to win no matter how good or bad the competition is.
