Dumpster Fire
The dumpster fire continues to the younger groups...several 06s leaving (thanks FD and your precious Florida Soccer School above all else) and talented 07s have already escaped (RH pushing them away or is it the lure of TM at TBU?). No accountability at WFF.

I would not hold my breath expecting a change.

Dumpster Fire
Why would O6s want to stay at WFF with FD (and JD) more concerned with leveraging their family name to promote their precious Florida Soccer School than developing players? Because they have no other options! FD & JD miss games and practices because they’re making their move to escape. WFF parents made their bed when they trusted those snake oil salesmen to take them to the DA promise land. Unfortunately, the DA is a facade and YY/JD/KW know they can’t deliver scholarships AT ALL. But where would the 06s go? Too much talent on TBU to make a move there, so live with your poor decision and stay at WFF.

The 07s that left WFF have made a great contribution to the 07 TBU ECNL team.
They are 4-0 in the SE Division. For a parent that is interested in possible move, look at the training at WFF compared to TBU. Its night and day...WFF only has 1 talented player left and Im sure she will leave after this year. I hope that RH doesnt stunt the development of the 08s because Im sure once those parents get a glimpse of whats coming down the road at WFF they will soon be wearing green and gold as well. Karma is a MF......

If you ask parents that have been there since U10, Im sure they will tell you that there is no development at the grass roots level. My daughter is an 05 player and is currently at TBU. There was nothing that WFF did for her but let her play for the years at U10 until U13. There was no development at all. We had to invest time and money on private training. The most important part of the game if your player wants to succeed is technical. If the club was truly concerned about their players and the parents they should have a mid season and year end survey. Listen to the paying families because its a big investment and sacrifice. If the club truly showed that then things would be completely different Im sure. I know this is wont happen but they fell on their own sword. Parents are more aware of the BS at a very early age because now WFF is feeder club. The parents know it who stay there they are just to far gone to admit it.

The development is stunted when they get to YY. YY has single handedly ruined the senior program on the girls side with full support from a corrupted WFF BOD. This man is all about making money for himself and close cronies with the inability to develop players or properly run a soccer program. The BOD should be ashamed of themselves for leaving this man in charge.
They are looking for a new scapegoat and now RH is their target. Problem is the players that came through him leave after getting to the GDA (or ECNL in years past). Many of RH former player are currently playing at TBU and OC, and not WFF.

If a decent and honest CEO were ever to replace GR, people like YY and his flunkies would not last. Of course that would take honest BOD who are concerned about the club and not securing a place on a team for their kid.
