All we can say is our player is having a blast at Select! Sure, club soccer expensive. All club soccer is expensive. So is gymnastics, dance...etc. Some more expensive than others. However, we are really enjoying the ride. Our player will not be little for long, so we are relishing this time. Select, and maybe other clubs?, has been such a enjoyable time. Our player has made so many friends & has developed on a very fast pace...& is having fun! So are her parents! We are not expecting the moon, although sure, it's obtainable. Again just enjoying this time & looking forward to more. We are certainly happy with our choice. Not a top team player...college, maybe? But that is not our objective. Just fun & development. And for last few years we have gotten all that & more. The girls at this club are just awesome, it's such a good feeling to know your daughter is loved. We have no doubt that it will last as players get older...really hope that other clubs have same experience, there is no room for a clic in club soccer.

Heard another 04 bite the dust. Pretty soon LL will not have a DA team for next year. I think goes down as the worse youth club soccer move by a club.

I agree they should have tried to hold out for another year to see if DA gets any better. But long term they didn't have many options. Couldn't get into ECNL and NPL is a distant #3.

Moving to DA wasn’t the bad move it was the way it happened. No information, no understanding for those who weren’t convinced, bullying girls into thinking it was DA or you suck, lying about the number of outside players dying to come over, not being open about what it would look like, and on and on. A few girls left for another da club. It was not da. It’s the culture of the club that isn’t at all what they like to pretend it is. ULittle dad enjoy the ride. Then when you figure it out we will be here.

That’s alright they now have to move AS back to the 04 DA team, so she can run the show and they really don’t need anyone else. Feel kinda bad for SR. There go her goal totals.

It's very tough for a new DA club to field a U19 team - mostly seniors and some juniors. Who wants to give up HS at that point?
