Your problem is your reason for playing club is misguided
You don’t play club to get recruited
You play club to get better coaching and the opportunity to get recruited
The recruiting process is on you- it’s not the jersey it’s the kid inside the jersey that gets recruited, it’s getting coaches to come look at you by sending emails and sending film- the club is a resource not a pipeline

Your getting into school with grades, not soccer. Those with grades will still get into their schools most likely. Target a school that matches your grades.

Somewhat true, however of a school that’s a bit of a reach academically really wants you because of your athletic ability, you can definitely get into a better school. Happens all the time actually.

Except this year. You will only get into the school your grades allow but they still might be the right program for you.

Stop having a ****ty attitude.

The entire country is in the same position. Instead of the self pity card, own it and help your kid forge ahead. Mailing it in is what losers do.

Totally feel for the unrecruited 21s. Things will hopefully still work out for them but this adds tremendous stress at a time that's already stressful enough.

And while your club won't hold your hand through the process, they should be helpful. Since they're not coaching now, one would hope they would step up with some extra help and encouragement for players still in process. The stronger a recruit list the better it looks for a club

Your rant is very general... How do you know they’re not being helpful? How do you know they’re not “stepping up with some extra help and encouragement”? Do you have an unrecruited ‘21? Do you have a specific example of a player asking for help and not receiving it?

FSA seems to be doing ok, CFC and OW not so much.
