Now PBU bites the hand that feeds them. We will see how that goes.

This is true! Whatever is going on at PBU, PBU will be the one the suffers not PBG. If it wasn't for PBG, PBU would not be where it is now, no coaches, no fields and not even players. PBU did a horrible Job( actually nothing)trying to get boys to tryouts and had to pull players from PBG to fill teams. Eric A is a douche bag!!!
Yeah I heard he cut your kid

what i see is the best boys coaches for PBU and Gardens are shared. most teams have grown every year and now a few will be top three in the conference. PBU has always had the credentials while PBG had the coaches, fields and organization. I think this is made up but even if it was not,PBU will thrive with ecnl and gardens would thrive with their leagues, which includes a girls da or dpl league
PBU has always had ‘the credentials’ while PBG provides coaches, fields, organization AND PLAYERS. What does PBU do to recruit non PBG players? Must be some credentials. What is left at PBG is now crappy boys teams. Partnerships should be balanced some are realizing this is a one way street.

PBU should run as fast as they can away from PBG prez and DOC. Both are vile and dirt

Would be absolutely great if PBU could cut ties with Predators and AG.
Big reason they can’t seem to recruit all the areas best players is because of the relationship, perceived or real, with AG.

What fields does PBU have a permit to use? Last time I looked, soccer was played on a field. Please name the field.

North District Park and Russo. If PBU leaves they no longer have access to that park since PBU is contracted under PBG Umbrella. PBU won’t be able to use any fields at Gardens actually because PBSA has the permit for the others.

Don’t think for a minute PBU doesn’t have contingency plans already in place.
Writing is on the wall. Fool.

Love this guy! Banging the PBU drum when other posts claim PBU has offered spots to made up kids. Second team PBG players getting offered spots as no one else will fill them is another reason you’re making yourself look like a fool by sh***ing on PBG and making veiled comments about how PBU is leaving PBG behind. If you even have that kind of inside knowledge the fact that you’ve came to TS to spout it shows you for the tool you are as this forum is nothing more than gossip and hilarity for the most part - I’ve yet to see anything rumored on here come to fruition.

Truth is, they both need each other to function but if it really came down to it PBG would survive longer than PBU. PBU will just rename itself and start up somewhere else next year like it has done in the past at FC Florida/FC Treasure Coast/Surf/PBU.......

                          Marriage of necessity

PBG boys team are horrible and they lose revenue to PBU at the same time they lose any quality boys they had. Did I say horrible?

Not enough quality to fill both club rosters. PBG boys is straight rec and everyone who plays there for a year knows it as any good kids go to PBU.

But- PBU suffers too because PBG cannot funnel enough quality to them to make them competitive in ECNL and the area distrusts PBU due to concerns of ties with PBG. But they need PBG for fields, etc.

Round and round we go. Sorry state of affairs for north county soccer. We deserve better.

Pretty much spot on except PBG does not need PBU in order to function.
PBG is one of the best run clubs in the state. PBU has next to nothing in terms of resources or infrastructure. They are a ‘pop-up’ club and suck of the teet of PBG.
