Most CT players go off to mid major programs and most don’t have the funding to match that.
I do like how you are so confident in your statement you are most definitely wrong.

Fall will be the test - NLIs are normally signed in November for D1s and applications are due for ED/EA D3 recruits. But between the lighter talent level and Covid, this will probably be CFCs weakest list yet

Listen, it’s simple math and once you analyze rosters it’s pretty easy to figure out who (if anyone is even potentially getting a full). Full rides are extremely rare in college sports, especially in women’s soccer. Unless you’re talking about a D1 head count sport like football or basketball.
Let’s use the UofM as an example.
They have 34 players on the roster.
Check out the resume of some of these players on the roster. (To save you some time, here’s a hint...check out #1, #2, #8, #10. If anyone is getting a full or close to a full it’s these types of players).
They only have 9.9 scholarships to hand out. That’s it, 9.9 out of 34 players.
Now peruse the resumes of some of the remaining 30 players on the roster (other than the 4 I mention above) and think about who would be getting a “full ride” as everyone loves to think is happening.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostLol, ok thanks for the well thought out response. Took you a minute or two to determine that? Well done, you must be a D1 assistant coach in charge of recruiting at a big time program.
Women's not only have more grants per team but international players aren't as big a factor (but it is growing). Fulls athletic rides aren't common but schools can carve out a total package to reach that. The average for a typical female player is more in the 40-60% range. Top studs get 70-85%

Not the idea of getting a fully paid scholarship (mostly a myth), but getting any kind of money at all and getting recruited. It’s not as easy as you may think to land on a D1 roster or to get noticed by a D1 coach. Especially for a CT player. So yes, CFC does very well in this area. Even FSA does ok; the ECNL badge helps with that. Is it possible outside of this league; of course it is. Oakwood, Yankee and Sporting have had kids go D1 too. But it is a harder road for some clubs.
each step for these kids is important-as there are few of them
some get youth honore but not the majority
they get HS honors- yes those are important as well
some club league honors- not all league do this
then the offer from a college coach- every step is important to them

they cant pull academic $$$ as easily- maintain a GPA and its guarenteed
Athletic money for the most part is a year to year thing unless its in you deal
