Don't fool yourself. The Reign lost all the national team players besides the keeper. They also lost all the girls except 1 who were is the US Training Centers or Identification Centers.

the current definitive ranking of the strength of youth teams is https://youthsoccerrankings.us/ which has basically all tournament and league games in its database, crunches the data and spits out a number. look up these teams and you'll see they're well below average ECNL level. That said, they are competitive (expected loss by 1-2 goals) with the worst ECNL teams which include Eastside and SU.

Gunners girls are in the WA top 5 in almost every age group. Sounders has a couple teams ranked by that site as #2 in the state...

Spokane Sounders is a strong club and really should be ECNL, but ISL is not competitive at the ECNL ages. if GAL succeeds and they are able to keep the players they develop when they reach recruiting age that would change of course

Tend to agree that they should have girls ECNL. Their boys got throttled in the ECNL last year, so bet that didn’t help their case even though they are stronger on the girls side. I will be interested if Surf combines the teams from Tri-Cities and Spokane. They might be able to put together some pretty decent rosters if they do that.
