Just saw that CFC finished 18th in the ECNL last year that’s not bad. This guy is tight with Ron alber at sUsA , Paul Riley at Alberto’s. And Ruari McGinnus from east meadow. He will pull in players from Long Island with ease. Players that are looking to stay close to home will go to Iona. They won’t be a top program in the country but the will be in contention for the MAAC tourny in 2 years.

My daughter has friends that have played for him at CFC. They all like him and all think he will do well at Iona. But recruiting is done for the 2019/2020 seasons I’m sure so it will be at least 2 years before we will be able to judge him on his recruits. We will see what type of coach he is though very soon

Pda, Stars of Mass are clearly the top 2 clubs followed by CFC and Match Fit. SUSA and EM are just behind them.

CFC has a few high quality teams, a few less so. FSA is mediocre at best across the board with more than a few teams in the basement. Both club's NPL teams are lackluster but at least CFC ECNL overall is solid.
CT is too small state to have 2 in state ECNL clubs (plus some CT players come to NY) and a GDA team (that is also floundering). It is reflective of the landscape overall. Too many "top" leagues and clubs, not enough so called top talent.
As for TP he's said to be a good guy, solid coach. Anything will an improvement over before. However, he will have to greatly expand his recruiting universe to get more talent in.

U14: 5-13-8 (12th of 14 in NE ECNL)
U15: 8-1-4 (3rd of 14 in NE ECNL)
U16: 8-2-3 (3rd of 14 in NE ECNL)
U17: 2-9-2 (12th of 14 in NE ECNL)
U18: 1-10-2 (13th of 14 in NE ECNL)
U18 COMP: 5-2-1 (4th of 9 in NE ECNL)
Their 15s and 16s got a little better that season due to influx of outsiders. Most years they finish like their 14s, 17s, and 18s did. Slightly better than FSA at most age groups.
This year their 13's are 2-3-3 and their 14s are 2-4-2 and both are 6th of 8 spots. None of their other teams have played a game yet. Slightly better than FSA at most age groups.
