Actually Trump hasn't fixed it. He was forced to perpetuate the F'ed up policy from the previous administrations. And yes, OB separated way more kids during his administration. How can that be you ask? Because when they sent requests to show up in court to pick up the kids, no one ever showed up. How is that you say? Because they too were freaking illegal. They game the system and idiot like you let it happen.

You only separate families if you believe its an "infestation" which is where the rhetoric is taking us. This is not a "left" perspective; it is the perspective of anyone that believes that although they may need to be deported, immigrants should not be treated like vermin or "infestations."
yeah, right

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWow, that’s your answer? That’s the best you can come up with? When Clinton and Obama separated families (and they did) where were you? Exactly, head up your ass. Nothing to see here folks. Now Trump is the bad guy because he has the balls the enforce “existing” laws while you and your libtard friends scream from the top of your lungs about Trump. What the **** are you doing to help? That’s right, absolutely nothing. Think about this, Schumer is purposely instructing his party to sit on the sidelines and do nothing to help these poor kids that you so cherish because he is looking for votes to forward his own interests. The hypocrisy is astonishing yet your support these self-serving fúcksticks. Right or wrong, at least Trump is enforcing laws while the Dems wanna gain from the plight of others. There is nothing lower, including Trump. That’s what the Nazi’s did but you’re ok with it. Your party of pussy’s are immoral and disgusting! After 2 years of no plan and no action, your plan now is to sit out and offer no solutions. I’m gonna puke if I hear another one of you snowflakes cry another word about these children when you support the very same people that won’t lift a finger to help because they would rather make Trump look bad! 2020 is looking better and better! GFY!

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostObama and Bush RARELY separated families. The only kids detained on their own were those who showed up at the border unaccompanied, mostly teenage boys. They were then sent with relatives in the US or placed in foster care while their cases were being processed. The Trump administration is now planning to house those unaccompanied kids on military bases. All prior administrations kept families together in almost every case. If a family wasn't immediately deported (Obama deported more illegals than Bush did, at a time when illegal immigration was already declining post-2008 crash) they had to go through the court system to try and gain a temporary visa or asylum status. They typically were released into the US with orders to report. ICE has reported families with children have a very high rate of showing up for all appearances (over 90%, single men had the lowest report rate). It was a conscious choice on the part of the trump administration to imprison parents which then necessitated their children being taken. However, illegally crossing is a misdemeanor that should not require any substantial jail time. By the time many parents were released their kids were shipped off to far away shelters with different case numbers than their parents, kids who are young and don't speak English and in sometimes don't speak at all.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostSo sick of Republican bull**** artists. People come over the border to work. Republican business owners in red states hire them, pay them under the table, and then complain that they are in our country. Every year Trump (who is without a doubt the most disgusting person on the face of the earth and anyone who voted for him must have been living under a rock their entire lives) gets 70 visas to hire people to work for the season at Mar-a-lago as chefs, maids, etc. - jobs which could easily be filled by Americans. Not once has Trump's administration gone after the business owners who do this. I guess its just more fun to incarcerate babies.
Another brain washed, socialist dumb f*ck. Wow. Just how stupid ARE you??

When all of Congress is controlled by one party, how much do you think the minority can get done. When the president discourages conversation and compromise and makes it clear he won't budge, how much do you think can get done? Many proposals never even make it out of committee. Congress has become completely ineffectual, even worse than under Obama which didn't seem possible.
