I know for a fact my older child's team has received $6000 from tha raffle tickets and maybe 50 percent of the tickets were sold from our team. My younger child's team sold most of them and received $0.00 the money covered prestigious showcase tournament registration fees and coaches expenses so the parents did not have to split those expenses individually. State cup payment is part of the initial registration fee. A big chunk of the ruffle tickets $$$ will cover the DOC's salary of $75,000 per year. The garage sale is a back up plan and WP will be the ones to make the most from the booth rental fees, garage sales don't bring much cash, everyone looks to get a bargain and wat if hardly anyone will even show up?

DOC is a smart man double dipping. Being the DOC and Palm Beach Premier FC's Coaching advisor. Is this not a conflict of interest working for two different clubs. They don't let the coaches coach at two different clubs why should the DOC be able to work at two different clubs.

Yeah this is messed up coaches can't earn a living working at two clubs but the DOC can this is BS.

They don't let players guest play to or from different clubs but the DOC can work with other clubs. This is major BS!!!!

Hidden agenda or not he is still a lying douche. I really don't think he has a hidden agenda as I don't think he has the mental aptitude to develop one.

Which email is that?. The one where they say you are liable for the raffle?

It is amazing in that same email they could not say why?
It is because they LIED to all parents and did not tell them upfront of why they have to have the raffle. To make it worse, you had to check mark a box agreeing ( being forced ) about raising the extra $ per player.

GO ahead West Pines charge the parents the extra money.
Do not be surprised the outcome of that decision on the parents side.

Finally, the Parent Code of Conduct that was distributed as part of the registration packet when we joined the club this year, is a guideline for player and parent conduct, it is not binding like the contract therefore any requirements for fundraising stated in the document are RECOMMENDATIONS. The Board of Directors is working on clarifying membership financial obligations for next year and continuing to be transparent in all financial matters.
