For example, UNC GK was .85, but only 20 SOG all season for 3 GA. You can get great stats like that when you have a team in front of you who can keep possession and defend. Don’t like laying blame on the GK in situations like BC’s. It’s the easy excuse when you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Not saying the BC goalie is the goat. BC is #11 ranked team in the ACC as a team and the GK is about the same level individually in the league.

Well if you midfield is possessing and defenders are defending.Goalkeeper is just watching the game instead of stopping a shot ,then the deflection gets scored. There are great shots that any goalie cannot stop as well. They have a new incoming freshman keeper they can then blame.

BC has the potential to be a top program. It is a great school in a great location that plays in the ACC. How do you not attract top players locally or even from the region. Make all the excuses you want for the coaching staff but they recruited low end D1 or top end D2/3 players. Defensively they are not very organized and just pack in numbers behind the ball. Bottom line it comes down to coaching and if players believe in the coach and what they are trying to do and obviously they don’t. Coach should resign and go back to being an assistant.

This is what happens when you believe in accolades you read and not actual talent level you see for yourself.
