Originally posted by Unregistered View PostDo you really think a school/coach will take away a senior's money in their last year? I find that hard to believe. It would be a really crappy thing to do as the students need to finish their degrees and have basically no chance to transfer elsewhere. Bottom players weren't getting much $ anyway and probably wouldn't be surprised by those conversations, but top players would be.
Coaches are mostly done with 21s - if they haven't recruited their usual 6-8 they'll just go with the 4 they've probably already locked in, who were their top picks anyway, and move on to the 22s. The 22s aren't out of the woods because of deferrals and who knows what will happen this year with showcases etc

inquiring minds want to know, especially of good old Mass. The club soccer rosters are not full of black and brown skinned players.

Now racial diversity which crosses over to gender is important. Womens soccer will be impacted. Internationals will cover some of the " quota". Still working it out as tier 2 has more flexibility being that field skill is somewhat a grey area.

Half the girls on my daughter’s 02/03 (former DA, now ECNL) are still not committed but several of the 2022s are. The 2021s are screwed.

There is really no change in anything except recruiting timeline, 2021s should already have had contact with coaches interested if not they have moved along 2022s still have time .Not all schools have big football programs so they are used to it.Bigger roster sizes and no scholarship cap help those 2022s get what they want.
