So 6,000 Americans died this week from colds? And we are preparing for 100,000 Americans to die from Colds in November and December?

This is what happens when you don't follow the science. You get statements like this. Case counting and believing CNN "doctors" has caused many unnecessary deaths and financial hardships.

Is the virus dangerous, yes, but only for a relatively small fraction of the population. The WHO just said they estimate that 10% of worlds population has been infected. That's consistent with US antibody studies.

Therefore: 750,000,000 people infected in the world (not the 36,500,000 current cases per John's Hopkins). 750M cases with 1,061,997 deaths is a mortality of 0.14%. Say deaths are undercounted by 500,0000 in other parts of the world means a mortality of 0.2%. The seasonal flu has a mortality of 0.1%

Conclusion: COVID without vaccine or widely used therapeutics is only twice as deadly as the seasonal flu with a vaccine and widely use therapeutics.

The best path should have been, after we flattened the curve and we learned more (which we have) to open up while protecting the vulnerable (those >65 with comorbidities).

100% and I would say this: dying WITH covid is a lot different from dying FROM covid. The death rate is even lower than we think.

840,000 Americans die every year from heart disease with an average age of mortality younger than Covid. That's roughly 16,000 per week, almost three times as many as Covid this week. Binging on those questionable hot dogs and fries at the game is a far greater risk for anyone under 70.

No, we aren't preventing any deaths, only delaying them and the impact from these shut downs will be felt for years to come. How many moles went unchecked or colonoscopy or mammograms' were skipped? Please please please read something other than Facebook (and this site).
