US Soccer company car just arrived with some recommendations.
I wonder what the horn sounds like on the US Soccermobile?

Not sure you are up to speed in 2018-19, but the US Club league for girls was put on life support after the DA rapture of 2017. It happened. Some people still believe the holocost was a hoax. US Soccer opening the doors to more little DA clubs to expand in their platform, albeit only boys, resembles the flood gates opened by US Club after the top clubs left for the DA in 2017. Please stay informed.

The girls DA in Oregon sadly struggles to get girls out. At four thousand dollars per year or so and the ban on high school it’s been rough. Lots of B team players.

HS Soccer is rough on everyone in Oregon, unless your Jesuit. Jus sayin.

            LOL! Nice try Goebbels!

ECNL is fine. GDA lost several of its top clubs after a single year because the leadership, platform and competition is terrible.... typical US Soccer (see USMNT). Hopefully they don’t drag the women down with the men via the failed DA system.

From age 5 to present day the number of 'clubs' the Jesuit HS girls have played at is an extensive and exhausting list.

Only one, arguably the best player on the team, opted out of the local club scene and went for the DA level with XF premier club in Seattle.

It will take about a week to compile the complete lists of clubs they have played at over the years . Have this list for you after the Holiday weekend. You ask quite a bit.

Can you also find out their favorite color and if they prefer the grilled chicken or vegetarian option. Much appreciated.

The reality is that it pains that fool to say where the Jesuit girls play because it isn’t the Timbers or GDA.

Why are we talking about Jesuit on this thread? What does a well-funded prep powerhouse that is not constrained by attendance boundaries and thus can Hoover up the best players from around the region, have to do with the club scene?

As far as the subject matter of this thread goes:

                          * Having a second DA team for U15 and up, would be nice.
                          * Having the Timbers subsidize or provide advanced training for top U14s and below, and doing so in a way that is friendlier to the local clubs, would probably be better than the current model.

Let me answer the question that pains you fools to admit. Jesuit is almost entirely ECNL players and the majority of them play for CU.

Given that the top girls' club in the state prohibits their players from playing HS, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that if the #2 club's roster is concentrated in one high school, that school would dominate prep soccer.

GDA is third or fourth best option in the state at most age levels. As long as the girls are having fun and making friends, that’s good for them.
