You-are-not-listening. If the elite girl players have moved to ECNL there is no longer any reason for OPL to exist. That is demonstrated with the reality that almost any winter game scheduled is truly little more than a scrimmage. For anyone other than the "elite" player they may as well write their fees off as a charitable donation, because they receive nothing for their money.

If you figure there are 3 or 4 good teams in OPL per age level, combining with OYSA would create a strong bracket. This would be far better than playing Crossfire's A,B, and C team as well as one of their younger teams playing up.

You are not listening. OPL "B" teams don't want to travel all over the state to play teams that are no better than those in the OPL. There is NO need to join OYSA and spend waste the kind of money the TA parents seem to like to spend.

As for HS girls, based on what we saw in FWRL and FC Showcase this past weekend, there is absolutely nothing to be gained by OPL teams joining OYSA. The level of play in OYSA is actually LOWER than in the OPL.

Why did our 'A' teams leave for the OYSA and leave us stuck playing each other over and over.

Paying for a league of scrimmages is silly.

Would of been nice if the so called leadership had mentioned all the better teams in our club were moving to the OYSA.

Recreational soccer disguised as Premier league soccer is disingenuous.
If your dd was better she would be on one of the 'A' teams. She's in the right place. Then why travel to medford to simply play another 'B' team (if that)?

I think the question is - if your kid isn't good enough to be on the A team, and you are paying $1500 plus for her to be on a B team and essentially scrimmage her teammates week after week, why are you still doing club soccer? Maybe time to use that time and money towards something more rewarding and financially smart.

What?! I'm trying to get them to spend their money on an OYSA league/team, no quit soccer.

                Oregon Premier league, really?
There is still an OPL league?

Yep. Alive and well and full of a lot more talent, on the girls side, than OYSA.

If you keep saying that enough you might actually believe it.

And well? 3 divisions for boys and 5 for girls in 4 age brackets, and that's with some U8 teams playing up in the u16 brackets. Alive but far from well, more like life support.

wait until coaches and parents learn that the OPL will not be sending their league winners to NPL Finalsvstarting this coming Fall. NWCL will be the new path to NPL Finals

Keep spreading those lies. It's OK, we know you TA lemmings have nothing better to do now that your Thorns Academy team has been beat like an old mule in FWRL.

Doesn't matter, there still won't be any OYSA teams in either NWCL or NPL Finals.
