Too busy with vacations. That was covered last year in another thread.
So it's not about the kids. Typical.

I agree! Those Newton kids are being treated so poorly! Someone call DSS!

who on earth would they play? Really? each other ? Again? get to do that on the turf every week. Much more creative fun having free time to kick the ball around, and maybe catch some too (and yes, better for the parents not to spend 2 weekends on a competition less tournament. ) Yes MAPLE and NEP - clubs gotta start giving it to these organizations regarding the slack. No competition, no competitors. Starts here. We are proud

Time to move to NEP. Oops. They won't take you. Too bad.

People of means deny their children out of selfishness rather than need. You tell me which is more egregious.

No biggie. Besides, that would knock your son's team out of Premiership division automatically.

                    1) The boys are sick of playing weaker teams
                    2) The boys on both teams are having a great time playing *together*
                    3) The boys have commitments to other teams, such as those playing in Bays
                    4) The parents would like a few weekends off
                    5) Several of the boys have injuries that need to heal fully
                    6) The boys are sick of playing weaker teams and would appreciate some time off as well

From what the NEP players say, they barely have competition either. Only your DREAMTEAM Dreamteam U10 and MPSers are having any competition there , lol.
