She is a great recruiter, good coach, players have a ton of respect for her. Demands a high level of performance on the field and personal responsibility off of it. That's why.

She worked at UVM how long ago? So, no chance she could do a better job now?
Whether you like it or not she is a well respected coach who would be a good choice - for the previous reasons stated.

Endicott has made 8 straight post season tourneys, the NCAA sweet sixteen, and last year won the ECAC title. Kenyon's record there is 127-42-12 in 8 years. Not saying she would leave, especially given her role in the athletics department, but that sounds like a pretty good résumé.
