JK would be a great choice, but she is also an associate AD at Endicott. Unlikely to give that up for the UNH salary.

Why would she be a good choice? She was a Div. 1 head coach at Univ. of Vermont from 1997 to 2003. 41 wins, 78 losses, 7 ties, 0 championships, 0 NCAA Tournament appearances. Was let go at UVM / "resigned", then took time off away from college coaching to re-evaluate, then returned a few years later.

LR has too many ties to eastern MA/RI area, won't leave Wheaton for NH.

And since coming back to coaching, how has she been doing at Endicott?

She is a great recruiter, good coach, players have a ton of respect for her. Demands a high level of performance on the field and personal responsibility off of it. That's why.

Thanks Jodi. Bad recruiter at D1, bad decisions with the athletic scholarships. D2 SNHU has athletic scholarships.

Wow, the wittiness of that "thanks ----" type response never gets old.

She worked at UVM how long ago? So, no chance she could do a better job now?

Whether you like it or not she is a well respected coach who would be a good choice - for the previous reasons stated.

Fast forward to the present day my friend.

Endicott has made 8 straight post season tourneys, the NCAA sweet sixteen, and last year won the ECAC title. Kenyon's record there is 127-42-12 in 8 years. Not saying she would leave, especially given her role in the athletics department, but that sounds like a pretty good résumé.

                      Proudly out at snhu

AN wants to come back in the area it's close to her family, she made several calls to get her an interview.

Nice exclamation point. Did you stomp your feet as well when you wrote it, that's what a three year old would do?
