Beachside and FCW getting the pinch by NYSC. NYSC building a nice facility too. All of them lose their best players to NYCFC

Unfortunately DA has been terrible in Mass. Already too many clubs involved. There should only be 2 (I include Seacoast even though technically, NH). Too watered down already. So, no GPS, but that doesn't say much about them... speaks to the quality (ie lack thereof of the 3 watered down/weak clubs now).

                U12

That's what they did to GPS here too.

Slap in the face. ID and steal our best players.

Being on a DA team is a far better situation than GPS. It's a different level.

Keep telling your son who never plays that :-)

Different level for who... the soccer moms who think it's so cool to play DA? My kid plays two sports so we'd never be able to commit to DA, but honestly... my guess is he'll be better off in the long run. Time will tell, I suppose.

My D chose not to do DA for same reason, and it definitely was the best decision for her and our family to drop to 2nd team (NPL) for a ton of good reasons. She will need to work a little harder to get seen and recruited, but pretty confident she will be better for it in the long run. But I don’t blame those kids who wanted, and were able to do afford the GDA path. Definitely easier to get seen & recruited for better D1 college programs.

Lot different for the boys. Less scholarships, more internationals and established DAP as first league makes it a huge gamble
