Why would you think that a HS coach would be a good fit for anything related to D1 soccer?

It's basically running a small business. Recruiting, sorting scholarships etc. tactical soccer stuff is just a small part of it.

Look at Fairfield's new assistant. That's what you want. Coming from a D1 program. Understands recruiting channels and was the DOC at a large youth club

No HS coach can even get an interview for a HC job. Best is an assistant the the assistant coach. College coaching has a pretty well laid out system of progression. HS coach to HC isn't on the table.

She was an absolutely horrendous recruiter. Sounds like she got them to play hard, but I’m going to hold judgement until the season is over. They’ve only played one team so far that they played last year. Upcoming games and conference games will be interesting. Even then, new coaches need time to recruit their own players.
