For crap schooling too. Send your kid to a nice New England prep school for $45K a year - the soccer is good (and you can play club when it's done) + great education = good college + college soccer. If you're going to light your cash on fire, do it wisely.

My son is a stright "A", goes to public, and is one of the best soccer player in florida. Our income also qualify him for the bright future scholarship, so college is cover. In addition to this because of his ability and family income, he is playing da for free. Who needs psg academy

Many soccer families are not. They can afford club soccer but make too much for financial aid yet not enough to afford college. This is an issue for millions of families in the same boat, hence endless anxiety over how to pay for college.

Kids with great grades and good skills will have many more opportunities than just ok grades. Your status and his grades + soccer may give him some very good packages at good schools outside the state.

The put a product on the market and people buy it - in this case rich people. so what? what does it have to do with going pro?

If anything thinks going pro can be purchased for money - maybe they deserve to be separated for their money. I dont really think the people buying the PSGs and IMGs of the the world honestly think that is going to end in a pro career. These places send out mass promos looking for customers like they are selling slippers or insurance.
