what SUSA is saying that an opportunity to train with real professional coaches from a top club in the world is "A once in a lifetime opportunity". So wouldn't that mean that playing for Barca Academy is an opportunity of a lifetime? The coaches are from La Masia in Barcelona teaching the FC Barcelona methodology. That means kids on Long Island can train all year long with real professional coaches from a world class club. Do you think SUSA realized that by hiring Real Madrid Foundation it would be an endorsement for kids to play for Barca Academy Pro NY?

The vast majority of Barca coaches have not worked at la masia. In fact, many are trying to capitalize on this experience to make way into the academy.

Also, I have to add that I find it funny how SUSA IS pushing the Real Madrid training camp angle. They apparently know their training isn't up to par so they needed to compete with Barca to get more people. Shows that European training is where it is at.

Agree - anytime you go down to a Susa practice at their Baymen location. I see at least a 20+:1 ratio between trainer to kids. All Susa cares about is where the next check comes from!

Funny thing is they put their trainers credentials on their website.
I would expect that they all have their "A" licenses for the money you pay them!

That's why they are a low level club, they are more concerned with appearance than actual soccer. They will be mainly a girls club in 2-3 years. That's where they do a decent job because they bought ISA. As long as the Alber's are running the girls program they will be competitive. The boys program should just mirror the girls program and maybe they wouldn't fail like they have.
