U-23 team had quite a few local kids - Penn Fusion, PDA, etc. Class of 2018 - Duke, Penn State, UVA
, USC to name a few schools we have kids from her going to.
We tend to drag the down or say they are not as good instead of celebrating and saying they are.

ECNL New Jersey: 10 teams to watch
Article Written by Travis Clark

This weekend’s focus in the Girls ECNL shifts to New Jersey, for the annual event hosted by PDA.
U15 through U17 age groups are sending 134 clubs to North Jersey for games over Memorial Day weekend.
Keep an eye on these 10 teams heading to the Garden State for three games across the next three days.
Florida Elite SA U17
The Florida side heads north putting an unbeaten season on the line, with just two draws on the season from 24 matches. Three games are on the schedule against Challenge SC, Maryland United FC and World Class FC.
East Meadow SC U15
This age group is sending the smallest number of teams to New Jersey. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any quality sides. East Meadow is one of the sides highest in the Champions League race that will make the trip. They’ll face McLean Youth Soccer, NC Fusion and Minnesota Thunder.
Crossfire United U16
A diverse array of opponents is on the slate for Crossfire, with games against Challenge SC, Alabama FC and Strikers FC. With a quality defense that’s conceded just 13 goals on the season so far, it should make for a formidable foe on the weekend.
So Cal Blues SC U17
A club that can certainly make an impact at just about any level, this Blues U17 side is no different. They’ll head east for games against Bethesda SC, MVLA and Crossfire Premier. They’ve scored 79 goals and conceded seven on the season.
Michigan Hawks U16
The Hawks have competed on two fronts this club season, fielding sides in the ECNL and Development Academy. They aren’t quite at the same level with that in mind, though they are 13-4-3 heading into the weekend. This event is the first time the Hawks take the field since competing at the National Event in Arizona.
Mustang SC U17
The premier NorCal outfit embarks on the trip East for three games with Ohio Premier, Connecticut and FC Stars. Mustang SC is 17-0-3 on its conference season and will look to keep rolling ahead of its venture into postseason action after the trip to NJ.
McLean Youth Soccer U17
Virginia is in the tail end of its high school season, which means McLean takes the field for the first time since traveling out to Arizona for April’s National Event in Arizona. The club side is enjoying a strong season, and all of three teams heading to New Jersey will be tough outs. At this age group, McLean has scored 64 times and conceded just eight in 14 league matches.
BRYC Elite Academy U15
Another premier club from Virginia, Braddock Road wraps up its 2017-18 season with the trip to New Jersey. It marks the first games for the team since January, so rust could be a factor on the heels of the high school season. Albertson Fury, Bethesda SC and Continental FC are on the docket.
Connecticut FC U16
Another regional team that won’t have to travel too far in order to compete this weekend. The quality competition is coming to them, in a sense: they face Mustang SC, Strikers FC and So Cal Blues.

HMMM CFC gets mentioned cause they suck HMMMMMMM They must know someone to get on that list yes they paid Travis Clark the author of the article. Other good teams out there must not have paid as much to get a mention in the article. I guess just hard work and determination are part of it you have to have WINS locally and nationally. Nah i am sticking to them paying someone off.

Haters are always going to hate. Why not just admits that CFC 14,16 and17’s that have all qualified for the Champions League are very talented. They have very good results and are playing the top teams on the country. Look. At the showcase schedules and see who the ECNL thinks are good. 17’s are playing Mustang, Ohio Elite and MVLA all have already qualified for Champions League. The 16’s are playing So Cal Blues, Strikers and Mustang.
FSA is a bottom 1/3 club in the conference.

But based on sheer numbers, location, plus quality of clubs out West, players from CO, CA, TX etc do tend to dominate top D1 rosters and NT camps. We're a small state and in reality don't produce many "top" players. In addition, many players in this area will want to stay in the Northeast. That's just how college works. The NE doesn't have a plethora of top soccer programs but some mighty fine schools.
