Literally every year girls threaten to leave Pinecrest. Same old song and dance. Pinecrest will have plenty of girls to field the same level of teams they always do. They’ll be a top 2nd tier club, just like always. Their excellent coaches (RV and the brothers) will have actual excellent teams and all the others will be as mediocre as they always are. Without DA or ECNL, this is a solid club in Dade. If Pinecrest would stop trying to be something it isn’t, it would be a club that people wanted to play for.

while I will agree that they will still attract girls. at some point you cant continue to lose talented players and stay on top. They will get some teams this season, but they will also lose teams and the teams they keep will not be of the same level they were this year.

They’ll be the top club in Dade, at almost every age group. That is to say in Division 2. That’s completely appropriate for the level of skill they have. All the Dade clubs are low division 1 or high division 2. Who is better than Pinecrest? But, also who is worse? All about the same. Only difference is cost and location.

First of all you have no clue what you are talking about. Second look at the clubs you just mentioned. That’s exactly the point of this thread. Pinecrest is no different from any of those second and third tier clubs. Face it your leadership has completely failed you.

And for that matter, a single third tier. All these clubs are exactly the same. The teams would have even records against each other across the board.

Exactly. That is the point of this thread. You guys have a couple of decent teams and should easily be the best option in Dade, however due to the poor management of your club by multiple regimes that have cycled through and the bad reputation of your snobby parents and kids, you guys can't build more than 1-2 decent teams every few years.

Exactly the point, how do you allow as a club for the 02 team who is coached by the high school championship coach to completely fall apart and leave?
Problem is the times have changed and Pinecrest could not change with them. So now we are supposed to accept that its ok for Pinecrest to be at the level of clubs like Coral Gables, Miami Premier, and Cutler Ridge?

We do appreciate RV getting the girls ready for us. We should have an amazing 02 squad next season. Pinecrest not so much.
