    Thanks for whoever posted this.

On the girls side last year pre-ecnl (now pre-ecnl/pre-academy) was broken out as well, which I have done below.

Boys is now such a cluster with little DA that those younger ages are very difficult to separate.

    Q*, Semis, Finalists

    Corvallis - 1,1,0 - 2
    Crossfire/WU - 3,2,2 - 7
    Eastside 1,1,1 - 3
    FC - 2,1,0 - 3
    NEU 2,2,2 - 6
    PCU 2,2,1 - 5
    RVT - 1,0,0 - 1
    SSC - 1,1,0 - 2
    THUSC - 3,1,0 - 4
    WAFC - 1,0,0 - 1
    Washington Timbers** 2,1,1 -4
    Westside Timbers - 3,1,0 - 4

    * - u11s went straight to semis, those teams got a point for quarters and point for semis
**-05s were state finalists in Washington

Gave Westside 1 too many, corrected above.

The Crossfire United ECNL club is also ranked 70 out of 79 in ecnl clubs (so one of the worst in the country) and may be the only ECNL club where the teams get worse over time. Average ppg is .40!! Push-lease!!
Do the two that made it this year count? Is that recent enough?

In you expert opinion, what is your plan for player/coach development.

You've made such a broad comment and demonstrate that you know nothing about what's involved.

It would be interesting to read your vision.

Top Eastside girls going to GDA.
Ahh, half of the quarterfinalists were Crossfire ECNL feeder teams. Will not be hard to put together a strong ECNL team at this age from 4 teams.

I though SSC was no longer part of Crossfire--indeed, rumors that it may cease to exist have been floating around...

HSC is now the feeder club for Crossfire UTD girls.

LOSC/WUSC are theoretically the 'feeder' clubs for Crossfire Oregon boys and girls. But it's getting sticky since there is so little talent to feed CU girls, CO boys & CO girls + the teams are terrible and the price point to be part of any of them is more than the classic clubs below them with comparable low talent. The gig is running out.

The folks at Crossfire wish that were so.

The problem with boys' soccer in that part of town is that most boys who are good athletes prefer football.

I assume you are talking about the talent pool at the youngest ages. On the girls side the 06 WUSC team is in State Cup finals as is the 05 Crossfire team. Are these the groups you are referring to? Are you referring to 07's and 08's?

At least on the boy's side, crossfire starts at U12, or this past year 05, next year 06. So yes, the OP is referring to the talent level of 8 and 9 year olds who have not even started to play classic soccer yet. Way to keep it classy.

                        You People Are Sad

Congratulations to all the teams in the finals - you worked hard and you are the last teams standing in what was for many clubs a difficult transition year with the birth year changes.

To the teams that fell short, hopefully you had a great season, had fun, got better, and have some great memories with your team friends.

To the haters who want to come on here and make this a referendum on the great ECNL versus GDA Debate of 2017, please get a life. Volunteer at your kids' school. Feed the elderly. Do some gardening. Work at a soup kitchen. Take up jogging. Throw away your computer. You are sad and you are wasting precious years with your children.

U12 Girls Crossfire United is the ole THUSC team and other clubs hand picked players, and this group is moving on to the ECNL.

All ages groups 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 & 07....08, 09, 10 is JRS & PDP those groups tend to get picked off by the ADF's, WT & FC PDX before they ever go to WUSC, LOSC, CO or CU.

LOSC has its own rec program which feeds into its classic programs. Where are those players going if they're not with the ECNL?
