You mean the checks that don't include payroll taxes and screw their coaches by forcing them to pay the higher self-employment tax rate? Those checks?

So much for the coaches all leaving if the vote to merge didn’t happen. Look, 2 gone within the year. Shameful management by a blinded board. Brevard County will never have a unified club structure, especially with directors that don’t care about the kids in this area.

Yes Alan but they always have funds, are you getting scared with your low numbers in broward?

Scott Armstrong is trying to deflect from the criticism he is receiving at SCU by trying to shame the FC Prime Brevard thread. Don't let that crook get any satisfaction!

The flaw in that argument is SA is not getting criticism at SCU, he's getting criticism here from people jealous of SCU. No one needs to shame the FC Prime Brevard thread, the wannabes at BSA do just fine with that on their own.

Jealous of what? State Cup is now a 3rd level tournament and no SCU team did well. So what exactly is anyone jealous of? SA and the program he has implemented has only gotten worse each year.

No SCU team did well? That's pretty rich considering SCU had seven teams make it to the Round of 16 with two going on to the quarter-finals and BSA had a whopping total of one team make it to the Round of 16 and then on to the quarter-finals. But if you want to define your whole program by a 2004 Girls team have at it. Don't let data and facts get in your way.

Might be fun to start a betting pool on how long the next Technical Director lasts at BSA. Should we do this in weeks or months?

Not really. SCU doesn't claim or aspire to be in the same category as the massive urban clubs in the state. They don't have an identity crisis or an inferiority complex like BSA. They know their market. BSA has delusions of grandeur having no clue that Brevard County isn't demographically a natural fit for programs like DA and ECNL. SCU is the largest club in the area because they play to their strengths and don't try to be something they aren't. They excel in their niche. Which makes bigger stronger clubs look down their noses at them and smaller weaker clubs snipe in jealousy. Meanwhile SCU just keeps chugging along and inspiring kids in their area to love soccer.
