Looking at the teams from CFC both the 01 and 02 teams are loaded with quality D1 recruits. I doubt you will find 2 other teams in CT with that many D1 recruits. Yankee has 2/3 top recruits same with FSA. Oakwood has a few as well.

Seeing that this is an SCC thread, it would be nice to stay on point. Club starts in another month.

There are a handful of girls from the SCC from these teams and they haven’t disappointed. Lead their teams and are among the best players in the conference.

Most other discussions here lead to CFC, OW and FSA. Let’s keep this on point

This is so misleading. You can make a statement like, “loaded with Div 1 talent”. The problem here is that a CFC coach is funneling several players into a program like Sacred Heart. It’s true this is a Div 1 program but when people hear Div 1 they think best teams, best players. Most Div 3 NESCAC schools are better than a program like Sacred Heart.

You mean Sacred Heart that just beat Yale 2-0?

They’re hardly terrible. They’re .500 and battled injuries all season. SHU also beat defending conference champ FDU today on the road. You should dial it back a notch, champ. Your criticisms of all local programs smells of someone whose kid isn’t good enough to play at any of the schools or a coach who thinks they should be coaching UNC instead of Shelton Premier.

Yale is hardly terrible, neither is Hartford. Terrible is UCONN and SHU. No one in CT is exactly knocking it out of the park. They never do. Best program outside of the state right now is BC who is doing well this year in a tough conference (#19 13-3-2 in the ACC). Providence is #45. Other than that there aren't many other "top" NE programs. The top programs are in other conferences with tougher schedules. Few CT players go to those programs or become standouts in college. Rarely does a CT program make NCAA playoffs. Perspective.

                    Current RPI

                    #102 Yale 7-6-1
                    #116 Hartford 13-2-2
                    #129 CCSU 13-1-2

They’re 5-13. Beat Yale and FDU to finish the season.

People please stop all this hate. There is enough of it going around but to only talk bad about college women is pathetic. College soccer is the end of the road for these young men and women.

I’m going to guess when the latest RPI comes out, all of the above teams will drop except CCSU (beat St Francis to win NEC) and SHU (beat #102 Yale and #208 FDU both away), who will both move up and Hartford which should stay about the same after losing to Albany in the AE Semis. FU had a tough season. 2-5 down the stretch and finished lower than they did last year. QU struggled a bit down the stretch as well. Winless in last 7 games, but still made the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row. Congrats to CCSU and Hartford on great seasons. CCSU the only CT school still playing I believe. UConn, FU and SHU all new coaches which takes time to turn around.

Yale is hardly terrible, but they lost to #328 SHU? So which is it? Yale is terrible or SHU not bad at the end of the season? How about Yale not terrible (Top 100 RPI) and SHU got better? That seems to be more likely the truth.

Sometimes sh*t happens in games. SHU only got marginally better. Really no one in the state is that good but there's one school that ranks above all else in terms of academics and where families would ahppily trade off winning for the name on the degree. Several new head coaches this year so they all need time to prove themselves. But probably the UCONN coach should be the most concerned. The recruits were really hers and 3-13 is more than a "rough start"
