If you are fortunate enough to have your daughter go through the recruiting process, ask most college coaches their opinion on the Academy. I think you'll find that overwhelming majority of them prefer to have their players coming in with high school experience.
No one would ever argue that the training environment is remotely close. There are intangibles that you get from school soccer that you just cannot get in the club game. top HS players get moved around the field to help their teams win. Most end up as the on field leaders by their junior year. Being leaders and helping teams reach their goals are among many intangibles that players take away from HS soccer

Do you, or anyone else, know what makes up the number in the Opp. W/T Ranking column?
Is it the total number of wins and ties for all the teams a team has played to date?

The full explanation is here: http://content.ciacsports.com/tp/soc1819.pdf
Scroll down to page 9, Section 6.1 subsection b.
Note: Neither point ranking nor OPP have anything to do with qualifying for states. That's a simple, yet different formula, ((2 X wins)+Ties)/(2xgames played)>=.400,
(Added reminder) All games must be played and/or forfeited, so a team may achieve .400, lose their last game and fail to qualify.

If you think nobles and porters are lower class teams how bout schedule a game with your team. That would not be fake news. Why do you mention Glastonbury. Loomis Nobles and Porters mop the floor with them.

St. Joes of course would be heavy favorites. Glastonbury simply can't compete against FCIAC teams, just don't know what it is when they play against those powerhouses in Fairfield County. Hmm

The roster is a mix of kids from various clubs including CFC United kids that eat your kids when down there. Get over yourself.
You people pay tuition for a ****$y Catholic HS and recruit local club kids to be good at girl's soccer. It's not impressive. Trust me.
PS. Nice loss to a public school yesterday. Ass clown
