US U17’s got thrashed 3-0 today in the WC by Korea. Still think our current girls development is in good hands?
Too early for the jury to judge the DA, but The ECNL certainly ain’t cutting it. Time to revamp things and stop focusing on college scholarships.

Do we have wrong players, are they being coached and scouted to play this way or was it an off night. I do not know, but that was embarrassing.

Other national teams play/train together much more frequently and in a program like NK they are together all the time. Ours players get together once in a while for a few days at a time then they go back to their club or school teams. Not only does that mean inconsistent training but little team chemistry as well

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThat’s a weak excuse. Players today are infitely better and more technical than they were 20 years ago. The issue is as someone else posted, the ID system is flawed, the players don’t train together enough as a team, and most importantly, the NS is not good enough to overcome the first two issues. Look at the staff. They are clearly not the best we have to offer.
Who are the best we have to offer then?
