Looks like only about five or six teams from Oregon, for Surf. U15 and up. Younger ages schedule not out yet.

We’ve tried every year and finally made it into Surf. So excited.

Used to be top teams only, now just another pay to play tournament.

Well, not really. You have to qualify. They reject more than they accept.

Just do a couple of obscure gotsoccer tournaments, get a few points and get into Surf now. It was pretty awesome back when it wasn’t basically just another pay to play.

Is that not just your A,B,C teams just designated by color now?

Both are great tournaments. SL is overall much less cost.

Overall, if you can make one of these tournaments you won’t regret it. Great experience.

Surf has 25 minute halves and Silverlakes has 45 minute halves. Think about that for a second if you are looking for bang for you buck.

Surf upped the halves to 35mins (but still only a 5min half time). because so many teams were choosing SL. Surf also added one consolation game for the teams that don’t advance. Surf ends up with 280 game mins guaranteed and SL with 270 (but 10 min half times). Surf is much more expensive. SL has much better competition this year but it could be scorching hot. Both tournaments are much better than anything in PNW. Good luck to all the Oregon teams at both!

Surf Cup brings all the top schools out and 75% of the teams in the top bracket are better than anything from Oregon.

                              Silverlakes is 1 hour away.

Last time we had 30 coaches at each game.
