Do teams still look for players post tryouts and which organization in RI would you recommend outside of NEFC? We had a bad experience there a few years back and would not consider. Have heard good things about the development at other clubs from others but not sure what we can do at this point or where would be better. Not leaving RI.

Tricky... I think you are on the hunt for those clubs with enough players to split into two teams. Sometimes they will look for a couple more to have enough subs.
If you are coming from NEFC and want to stay in the NEP
Bruno, Bayside (and affiliates Strikers/Lusitana), GPS
If you are coming from another club, you could reconsider NEFC - sometimes teams and coaches and managers change and the experience may be better...
Looking for the NSL - nice post below from Mach1, RIRush, Ocean State an option.
Hope that helps - the group could direct a little better if we knew birth year, boy/girl, and playing level. -
