does'nt DA have rules against players playing in other leagues during the season?? so they cant play with ginga in the NPL or CCSL. but who is going to check anyways.
You can be a part time player but have to be on the club's B teams or an affiliate club like supposedly Ginga is now. Even then you're supposed to train sometimes with the team and are limited to how many games you can play in.

This is one of the dumbest attempts at relevancy I've ever seen, by both clubs. If you really want GDA don't fall for this - try out at OW NYSC. If you don't make it then it wasn't meant to be.

I'm embarrassed for Everson that he's even marketing this.

The imaginary bridge? It's over two hours by ferry, almost 2.5 by car from New Haven to Bay Shore at 4:25pm today, average day, no snow or rain. Good luck with that.

Surely Fury can find some other mediocre players closer to home?

If there hadn't been a link posted I would have assumed this was a TS joke.

Well, to be fair, it's a relatively short drive in terms of pure linear distance.

            Time on the other hand......yikes!

Maybe a certain age group of Ginga will make up a Fury DA team, like ginga O5 and train at the ginga facility and plays at fury da

no. it doesn't work that way. and fury already has teams. they're not getting additional teams.

Ginga is part of GDA, the same way A.C. CT is part of BDA.

Haha. Waste of time. When there’s a conflict where do they go?

Albertson on the girls side is the younger teams, which then get pushed to either FC Fury or FC Albertson Fury DA as they get older.

Beachside moving to Waterbury and dumping girls program, and now GINGA is DA. Wow huge changes in CT DA landscape. Is it panic?

Only knock I ever hear on Ginga is that eventually teams disband when the lure of ECNL and or DA comes knocking. Everson goes out an creates a pathway that allows current and future players to make the transition from his club to a partner club and now you are knocking that? Cant have it both ways...…….

This makes total sense and should only be viewed as the next logical step in the evolution of a very successful Ginga program that only started 5 years ago.

If you are critical of this announcement, then you don't know Everson and you don't know how much he is looking out for his players.

This is the kind of stuff that drives me mad. The egos of the guys running these CT clubs are incredible. They clearly are not doing any of this for the benefit of the players.....OW is right up the road, and they are in GDA. Traveling to LI three days a week for practice? Are you out of your mind Everson?
