    Ouch..facts are a bitch.
Well that would make sense - both Braden River & Celtic hooked their wagon to the WFF gravy train and now they are enjoying the same success as WFF through their "strategic alliances."

Would it really make a difference if KW was paying attention? The team has not improved at all with her as the coach. More kids have left the club since she came there.

Have to agree. When you only show up 30% of the time it doesn't matter. The kids can't follow the game plan in games if they're not taught the game plans in practice.

          WFF GDA U16
These numbers can't possibly be accurate?
          Wins:0
          Losses: 10
          Goals For: 2
          Goals Against: 50

WFF parents are actually spending good money for this?

That means they are scoring a goal every 450 minutes of play. Can you imagine the celebration when that ball goes in the net!

I really have to hand it to the flames. I would have never thought they would have 2 wins at this point.

Probably a crazy dog pile at mid-field and then ice cream for everyone afterward!

What's amazing is that they try the same tactics every match, and don't correct the bad habits. This weekend, they mixed it up and took the most effective players off the field, and gave up 5 goals each time in the closing 20 minutes. Brilliant strategy.

Really, Your're going to blame substitutions on these losses. If I recall they were already down 2-4 goals in the first half. Who are these "effective players" you keep talking about. The blame lies on all the coaches at this point. Don't blame the girls that get subbed in. That's pretty low.

Agree 100%. WFF promised Jill Ellis level coaching but really delivered Bruce Arena level coaching.

I think the OP's point was that the coaches made a poor decision substituting in players that don't play with the team and are not yet capable of playing in the DA. The team was down 0-2 and they were threatening the goal in the second half. They made some poor substitution choices and gave up 6 goals in 20 minutes. It's not the girls fault. It's the coaches fault for putting them in that position. For Sunday, they decided to rinse and repeat for a nearly identical result. They are setting the girls up for failure.

Is there any wonder why USSF is pulling the plug on the GDA @ WFF?
It would be different if they were putting kids in college, but they are not even doing that.
If you have a GDA program at a club, but don't really put kids to the 2nd level or the NT pool, are you really a GDA club?
Bye Flames, you have completely done this to yourselves with your stubbornness, arrogance & flat out refusal to right what is clearly wrong.
It already has come home to roost.
You GDA Flames parents remind me of the Fyre Festival attendees..clueless & naive.

Nobody is pulling any plug. Things are getting better at WFF. The DA Winter Showcase is a month away right around the corner. Coaching staff is working hard preparing and players will be getting recruited. NT scouts will be there first hand to get a good look at WFF GDA talented player pool.
