They are a joke and anyone from around the area knows it. The coach is a salesman that only networks with Spanish speaking players and parents. Gets the few DA players he cons into playing in trouble with their clubs and then suspended for breaking rules. His kids aren't good enough to compete at a high level so he picks up left over kids and plays low level tournaments to make up for it.

I have do doubt that if these Vikings could play state cup that the big clubs would be out coached and out played by these vikings. The level of talent on the field and sidelines is beyond belief.

I have no doubt that you might be right, but only because there are DA and RCNL players from OCYS, Jax, and Tampa area playing with that group. The top 05 from Space Coast. All of the good players would be playing for their clubs or not playing at all because they are DA or ECNL. I will not agree on the “out coached” comment. This team wins because they recruit A level talented players from all over to play on one team in tournaments where they face C level competition.

Who even attends this event? Looked at the brackets and just a handful of mediocre FL teams in the older age girls group a handful of south american teams. What's the purpose?

This is obviously the dad/coach who is trying so desperately to bring attention to himself and this team. Other posters are correct, the kids are DA/ECNL players from other clubs. The kids are good kids, the dad is not a coach and is actually clueless when it games to the game. He is about as shady as they come and people are right to question his ethics and morales, he simply does not have any when it comes to the game. What is sad is the effect it has had on his two kids who play. This is another sad story of a parent ruining the experience and potentially the lives of their children for their own selfish gratification due to their own shortcomings and failures.

Oh, you talking about the same dad who was kicked out of Rush, the Orlando city club,ACYS and FKK, that dad? The same dad who pulled his 05 off of several teams because his son wasn't getting playing time he thought he deserved and blamed it on poor coaching. The one who was caught forging and making fake passes so DA players could play on his special tournament team and win against division 2 teams? Yeah that dad is a unique one.

This is what is wrong with youth sports and this dad is a great example how bad it has gotten. He is a poor example for his kids and the kids that play on that team. My question is why do parents let their kids play on that team?

Isn't this Disney tournament done for the division 2 and division 3 teams before the August tournament? Why play with DA and ECNL teams in this one, wait until the August event.

At one time this was a very good tournament but that was 2-3 years ago at best. The August and November tournaments are now where the top teams are found and this tournament has become a money grab for Disney and attracts mainly division three teams or below that would not compete at the other two showcases.
If this dad/coach is selecting this tournament just for a trophy grab, that is his choice but maybe the kids who are playing are playing for fun and this is a chance for them to just play during the summer break.

DJ is a bottom feeder. A team of left over mediocre local kids that feel the need to trophy hunt at 2nd rate Disney tournament, 3v3, and indoor. The real talent laughs at him and his teams but he is too dumb to know it.
