Alex is great and has allot to offer. however, as nice of niche as ACC has in that corner, just to many options over there on the girls side.

Not really - CFC, Rush or YU, that later two being much weaker. Everton/Inter is terrible for girls, BS is no longer running girls teams. Revolution has a few teams. In other words, maybe there are options but most aren't any good.

must be why a lot of them have their school uniforms on the club website, they're not in college.

Anyway, no parent cares about that league. It has nothing to do with the youth teams other than the same owner.

Not the poster but I do know they picked up Prince from Rush. Great coach. Don't know about other new ones.

AC gets trashed on here all the time, (probably from CFC) because many of their cosches are HS coaches not college coaches. And? If you're in ECNL yes they should be college coaches or highly licensed. But AC and most other clubs aren't in ECNL. They offer a chance to train and learn the game. We need more kids playing soccer not less. Telling people there's no point in doing something just because it's not the best-whatever is ridiculous.

Several of these guys work at WCSU as well as local high schools in the area. They are a good club with a good set up. Prince is a solid pickup for them and will definitely hurt Rush out of Wilton. He has developed strong ties in the local community and that is a good move by AC. They will be the dominant club in that area of CT (Danbury).

They charge similar to other clubs at that level. I think only one team went, and it wasn't at gunpoint. BS, OW and others have done similar trips as well. Ask MK about boondoggles.

A lot of hate for a club that some claim sucks.
