Hide Your Ugly
Anyone notice anything funny about the FESA tryout schedule? All the tryouts are held on 3 fields, one right after the other. That is, all but 2 groups. 2007 girls and 2009 boys are on a separate field, not sandwiched between other tryouts. Of course a chunk of 2009 boys went to Prime and 2007 girls took off the year before for JFC. Do they not want the general public to see the low numbers and talent?

Guaranteed. But over time, the bottom 4 ECNL players will have some advantage and edge due to opportunity and exposure the others never get. Those stuck on second team also tend to be more athletic, which you need at ECNL, not these tiny (or large becoming overweight) Scotty's dribble princesses that get run over in prime time on the big fields.

Train teams together and rotate playing time for the A games. They will have the social peer group love of the game in whole group training but might start requesting B games to play more.
No. Combining never works out.
This is something club directors say, to get B team parents to commit. But seldom make good on their “duel rostering” or “guest playing” promises once they get paid. It’s a clever trick to stop B team parents, or relegated A team players from seeking alternatives.

ECNL, if not designated as ECNL. As far as game situations, ECNL teams need to consist of the best players out there working as a team.
