Just released on the OCYS website.

        OCYS Announces ECNL Identification Dates

Orlando City Youth Soccer annouced today the Identification dates for the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Girls Program.

The Identification process, with the full backing from ECNL, will take place on May 28-31 at Seminole Soccer Complex in Sanford, Fla. Throughout the three days, OCYS directors and coaches will identify players to compete on ECNL teams at the national level.

"There has been a lot of confusion around the ECNL program over the past few months and we are delighted that has now been clarified. OCYS are the holders of the ECNL license for Central Florida, and we look forward to developing the very best Girls Program in the State," said President Phil Rawlins. "As part of the process of getting ready for the 2013/14 season OCYS wants to make the best preparations it can. Alan Hough and his highly qualified coaching team are looking forward to the ID process"

For the U14 and U15 age groups, the ID process will kick off at 5:00 and will run until 6:30 pm on fields 1, 2 and 4. Following those age groups, the U16s and U17s ID will proceed from 6:30-8 pm also on fields 1, 2 and 4. The U18s ID will then take place from 8-9:30 p.m. on field 4.

The setting of the ECNL Identification dates comes shortly after OCYS announced former FC America Director of Coaching Alan Hough as the Senior Girls Academy Director. Throughout his career in youth soccer, Hough has compiled an extensive resume and has also developed a network of contacts at all levels within the collegiate system. In addition, Hough is erudite in educating and placing student athletes into colleges, serving as a valuable resource for OCYS members with ambitions of competing at the collegiate level.

"OCYS is the leading club in the State of Florida and I am honored to be given this opportunity to work with an organization that is synonymous with quality and professionalism," said Hough. "The youth to pro model continues to grow within US Soccer and my goal is to build a youth to pro model for our female players, while providing a pathway to collegiate soccer programs for all of our players."

ID ... Not tryout, pretty low and unprofessional to schedule at the exact time of FKK tryouts. This drama disgusts me.
