They play with other college players and adults during the summer. There's lots of teams like that around plus more formalized leagues for college players like PDL

If you graduated already, move on and let the HS players play.
    Lies took your kids spot
Pick up games at college and adult leagues are not as competitive as travel for u18-19 you should know this if your kids played and graduated already

When a college player comes back in the summer to help a cllub with a tournament it is because they are doing their old coach or club a favor to help the u19 team win a championship. The club may pay their expenses to travel. Other college students who are not on College club teams because they attend colleges that have no teams. But College club Soccer, intramurals, or adult league is so cheap compared to playing on a youth club u19 travel team. College students pay activity fees with tuition that keep the college club team costs low. The university recreation programs cover much of the ref fees, field usage, uniform, and gas reimbursement for travel.

College students can play on a club travel team for about $100 a year.

Some college club teams are very high level like the players found on a D2 or D3 college team. Some of the players played youth soccer through high school at a competitive level and have continued playing club in college. Florida’s large colleges UF, FSU, UCF, USF and all of them really have high level club teams and the games are intense rivalries. Think how many talented. washed up or transfer or graduate students etc are on a college campuses playing club soccer. They don’t have the strict requirements of mandatory weight training and have flexibility in being able to do hard courses with labs, practical work or internships.

Universities also offer intramural soccer with less commitment than travel club teams.

Hey if it makes you feel better to think that, have at it. One played PDL the other had two great internships in his field as he gets ready to move on to the next chapter in life. Grow up, move out of HS ball. Helping your old club win a championship? Lazy on the club's part as well. Up until the age change you couldn't even do this. You stopped at U18.

Why do you care so much if your kids are done and why are you on this website then? Your kid lost their spot and you and everyone else know this 😉

If the rule is U19 then clubs will find a way to recruit U19 players out of high school. When the U18 seniors begin to drop like flies then the clubs take on U19 players for free. Anything to win.

That’s right but you lost a critical year when you were younger, and just to be clear most all kids quit by u-19. The age change was a mistake. Take yrs to flush out
