So 10 of 46 players committed are starting a lot. Around 20%. That may seem low but this is the best class in several years. 10 has been around the magic number for this stat. Congrats to these players.
Tyler Stott plays for BC not BU

Still early to call this. The conference games have not started yet. Freshman are being test driven. We'll see who really gets more playing time three or four games into the conference. Safe to say though that the ones not playing much now won't be playing much all season.

OP repeats this analysis at the end of the season.

To the OP: great stuff! As always thanks for the time you put into this!

I just want to point out that there is a huge misnomer in looking strictly at playing time. One is injuries. A simple sprained ankle can keep a player out or if a normal starter gets injured it opens the door for a non-starter. You also throw in sickness. Though that usually is a smaller duration than an injury. Without being in the know of each team you don't know the true reason for playing verse not playing. I do however find the stats interesting and happy to see the quality of schools New England Boys are playing at. Good stuff!!!!

Fair point regarding injuries. In a small sample size the results can be distorted. However, over time, the injuries will balance out. Some will get playing time as a result of injuries to others; others will lose playing time when they are injured.

Regarding sickness... Mono can take weeks for an enlarged spleen to return to normal. It can be spread and devastating to a team. Don't share those water bottles! ;)

College dorms and sports teams are petri dishes. it's like going back to pre school again, the kids are sick so often.

Anyone know if McPherson out of Danvers high was injured? He had been playing well but did not appear in a game after the Oct, 6 George Mason game.
