I think his point is that the two SOCCER programs are comparable right now. And they are. Coach only in 1st year at UM. They were too 20 when GR was there.

They are only comparable purely on a numbers basis and only for this year. In terms of strength of competition, level and speed of play CCSU shouldn't even be in the same sentence as almost all Big 10 programs.

Of course it’s by numbers it’s called ranking .
Nobody said anything about other schools in the big 10 being good just where UM ranks compared to all schools

Michigan State has a whole athletics department fall out from the gymnastics scandal going on right now. They also may have a crap coach. However, in general most MSU players will be stronger than CCSU players. A program like CCSU is going to have a harder time attracting talent because it's a smaller school, weaker academics, has no name outside the area and is in a weak conference

Yes, actually they are better and it’s not hard to understand that. The difference in conferences is vast. When you say winless, you’re obviously talking about in conference only for MSU. Just looked at their schedule to try to cross reference any type of common opponent. Couldn’t find a common opponent, but found a few examples to try and put it in perspective for you...

MSU beat BU 2-0
BU beat Uconn 3-0
Uconn beat CCSU 3-2.

CCSU beat Layayette 1-0

CCSU tied Seton Hall 0-0, enough said.
