Yes, There's A Posting For The Position

            Well, let's see.

            1) Any reference to Adrian Blewitt being the coach at West Point has been removed from the website.

            2) There's a posting for the position on NCAA.com

That's never a good look. Perhaps the supposition it has something to do with the cheating scandal? Coaches most often get booted for NCAA violations (see: TN football coach), gross incompetence, or some kind of wrong doing.

Never good to speculate without any proof when it comes to the character/reputation of young student athletes especially ones who signed 8 years of their life away to protect this country after graduation! Although I cannot tell you the nature of the dismissal as it has not even been disclosed to the team and will most likely not be disclosed.... it has nothing to do with the test cheating scandal as NONE of the members of the Womens Soccer team participated in that. Team should have a new head coach in place by mid February for the rescheduled Patriot League games. Stop spreading false narratives as the players are not responsible for this event.

Changing coaches is always a risk no matter where you go. Kids that are going to West Point are a completely different breed and their motivations and soccer goals are not the same as a typical athlete. Hate the new coach? Welcome to the army - get used to it.

There is plenty a cadet can do if they dont like the coach. Keep in mind that half the kids that get into the academy are VERY well connected. One letter from a certain person can move mountains at West Point.
There is a reason there was and is a scandal in West Point.

you simply do not get in without the endorsement of a congressman/senator at a minimum.

You people are speculating with no factual basis. Yes, you need a recommendation from a Congressman/Senator to endorse your application but you must have the aptitude and scores for admittance. The academy doesn’t just take somebody/anybody for admittance based on who you know. The Academy does not invest in cadets who lack the standards as put forth to becoming part of the military services. Everyone stays in their lane and there is no outside influence when it comes to matters in the academy. These posts are false and not true. Any action taken at the a demy regarding cadets or staff comes from internal sources not outside influence. If the academy has not stated the reasons for dismissal you will not hear it from anyone else. It will all be speculation as you are reading these posts.
