Is it true that Plant City now has two soccer clubs? How did that happen? That community cannot even support one club, but yet the same names keep popping up in charge. SR? MH? MH????? MH????????? What????????????????????????????????????????? And what is the deal with GP? If he has such a great background, then why is he wasting time in such financial quagmires?

Well after reading all the messages posted, it is funny to see all the junk floating around. The new FCPC is doing great, most of the teams are playing in the new FDL league put together by US Club. Which kicked off this season, and the competition is great. The organization is taking a new stance with involvement by a key few individuals, who have stepped in to make sure that the organization will be run properly. SR is no longer running things and it is now in the hands of select coaches, with backgrounds in administration, and bussiness, along with a couple of coaches being SDHC administrators. The talent is great with most of the players coming over to FCPC and adding new talent from surroundung areas. The program is building with 10 teams so far and growing, the new league is modeled after a concept model that players are developed to be ready to play 11 v 11 when the time is right, with U10- U12 playing 9v9 and also following all off side rules, which prepares them to be ready when they step into U13. It is amazing what can be created when you have the right people in place and everything becomes transparent. With all coaches as board members, and all financial statements made public at all meetings with anyone able to attend, this is something that was never in place with the old club, thank you for your time.

what is coming down the pipe will be a game changer, the city is in talks secretly with an outside club to come in and take over soccer in Plant City, the city is done with both clubs and the management involved, they city has invested to much into the new complex and is ready for a change, and when I mean a change it will be a big one with the new club from the out side that is set to take over. The city plans on letting the two clubs know right after the recreation season, that they are no longer welcomed as the clubs they are now and that a new organization will be given a lease on the new facilities. This is a for sure done deal

Now the city is supposed to be praised for bringing a new group in to take advantage and lie to PC families more? If only "the mayor" could just stay out of soccer in the area (he's been at Lakeland, baysl, Valrico, both PC clubs) maybe things would get better. Until then anyone that gets involved with soccer run out of plant city will get exactly what they deserve. You've been warned.
