Question about TBU

Why is there only one TBU academy team? Why are there not older ages like the other academies? Will there be next year?

Because only one field at TBU was deemed playable. All others in total sand.

Because TBU was not accepted as a full Academy program.

The U-13/U-14 development academy was launched just a couple years ago. At that age, it was determined by U.S. Soccer that it was important to have more regional games and reduce travel. Hence, U.S. Soccer accepted additional clubs at this age group only. You will also notice U.S. Soccer does not keep track of standings at the U-14 age group because they want the focus to be on development not winning. At the older ages, U.S. Soccer expects the better players to merge into a Full Academy program.

They play two halves with two different teams. Only 80 minutes played in the day.

It is another way for TBU to keep more $ in their pocket so the top kids don't leave for another club for another year. PERIOD If the club cared about your kids development why would they encourage you to stay in a program that had a dead end. Wake up folks. You are being had by the soccer rip off Nazi.
