Totally sour grapes. All but maybe 1 or 2 got there because they are good and nothing else. But to believe that, you have to be able to admit to yourself that those kids on the roster are better than yours. There is way more politics in id2. Coaches are promising spots to kids as recruitment tools. The kid gets id2 that soley based on coaches recommendations. and some kids get both...

The systems in place are flawed everyone knows it this is a dead horse. It use to exciting to many when slected for these events anymore though it has become pointless.

Because they knew someone ? I think if you really think about this you should acknowledge the fact these kids are pretty good. Your experience is probably at the local level that you struggle with.
