He has a u14g team now. He’s an excellent trainer, expects 100% and he will always give 100%.

Some think Shawn is border line abusive to the girls, some with the more older school thought thinks its tough love and just pushing to get the best out of the players. But everyone's not the same and doesn't respond the same way to that style of coaching. If the player is strong mentally and really motivated, they will excel. If they aren't, they will wash out pretty quickly. He does give 100% though, treats every session and game as something the girls will learn from, unlike some coaches who think game day is a day off and just moving players in and out of the game.

But everyone ignores the elephant in the room. It’s not just about his relationship with kids. He’s constantly in conflict with those who run clubs. The result is he moves constantly. His most loyal follow him, but as a player or parent, how often can you switch clubs, teammates, locales? Everyone who is serious is willing to jump occasionally for something better, but his record is ridiculous.

Shame as they were really good in the DA days especially the 05 team. Now they are CSA level which says it all.

I meant his record of moving from club to club. And I didn’t mean ridiculous in a positive way.

STA had a chance to retain one of the best now ECNL will have him. In the meantime GA going downhill fast so SC having last laugh.

The GA may not make it to next season. First the top clubs bailed followed by the top players
Now the top coaches are headed to ECNL

SC is now on to his 4th club in 2 years. That’s about all you really need to know.

That’s because what happened at STA. That decision to break up definitely hurt both parties. STA is in a bad place with talent and in a terrible league and SC had to survive after being thrown to the street. Good move for SC to get into the big league (ECNL). That’s a promising path for him. You can’t say the same about STA’s path. Not looking good. GAL is atrocious. They keep losing talent.

How long before he crashes and burns in Maryland? I’d put the over / under at 2 years before it’s on to the next club.

And what happens to all the Dynamite players? I feel bad for the ones that have followed him from club to club these past couple years. Surely they’re not all moving to Maryland.

Why feel bad? What was the other option? Stay and get trained by TV and play in GAL? Disaster. Have you seen those training sessions?

The girls will be fine and most ECNL or GA teams will take his girls in a second.
