I have asked on TS WHY on their Twitter page Florida Premier claims their club has “opportunities to compete at the top level in the country in ECNL” if . . . .

    1) FL Premier doesn’t have MLS for boys (which is a higher league than ECNL boys), like TBU has; and

    2) FL Premier only has ECNL-R for girls (like Clearwater Chargers) and NOT higher league of ECNL girls, like TBU has.

Crickets too. Without justifying or explaining that claim (that “they compete at the top level”), it Smells of deceptive marketing and consumer fraud.
Hum, have you looked at TBU's so-called "Pyramid"? It shows MLS Next and ECNL on the same level, so who is deceiving who? Both says "Elite Youth League Teams" I will include the link for your enjoyment....

He is the only one, because you are the same person with some obsession issues. MLS is a garbage league if you aren't affiliated with a real pro academy. It is below ECNL. So there is part of your answer. And yes, ECNL is a higher league than ECNL-R, but the good teams get in the same tournaments and beat top ECNL teams. So there is the rest of your answer.

AL's experience as a coach is great. What about his experience running a business? His on the job training hasn't gone so well for his ability to keep talent and to keep work place morale high. He is a smart guy so hopefully he learns to put his ego second to the needs of his members and staff. Tampa needs 3-4 quality clubs to keep competition high. I hate seeing the regression of TBU over the past 2 years.

Sounds more like someone pointing out that you need a hobby. But maybe you only ever hear crickets chirping in your head and it has driven you insane. IDK

TBU belongs to so many leagues they ran out of room on the pyramid so they have "double up" a few.

And had to outsource their participation in those leagues.

MLS is trash next to ECNL. Definitely don't buy that pyramid.

That needs to be updated. The tournament is over 300 teams now. And the club has over 80 teams just on the boys side. Wow. It is impressive when you see it written out.

Stop hating on AL. The guy is incredible. His sweet tea-BU he hands out on those hot spring days keeps the sweat at bay. Damn, that green kool-aid tastes awesome. Keeps me coming back to pay more for what he is selling. Any man that provides the best fields in TBU at Waters and gets me some of that Rowdies pathway to pro is a godsend. Need more good men in soccer like AL.

He has good high level experience as an assistant coach and GK coach. To say he is familiar with youth soccer from his time with the U17 is ridiculous. He wasn’t out working in youth soccer in Florida. He was with the U17 NT who were in. Also, I would need to check but I think while he was with the U17 it was he first time the US did not qualify for the u17 World Cup. Might have happened twice while he was there.

He was the head coach of the Paralympic team but that was so US Soccer did not have to pay him to not work.

Working with the best players idols very different than the various levels you have within a youth club. I have heard he is not a good leader. If he likes you things are great. If he doesn’t he treats you poorly until you leave.

TM is a good example. He brought her in and did not really know her but thought he could make a splash with a big name. One to find out they were very different and so he just excluded her and tested her poorly until she left. They can say want they want for why she left but there is a four page email out there where she details what happened. A coupe of the TBU board members got it but did not share with the other board members.

He may be doing a good job and unless you are there and in the know it’s hard to say. But don’t LO it to his experience with the U17s as a reason to be hired to run a youth club. Two very different worlds goals, etc.
